A TERRIFIED postie is ambushed on his round — by a vicious PHEASANT.
Barry Hutchinson, 39, dreads delivering to the village where it lies in wait to attack him EVERY DAY.
LOCAL postman gets chased and attacked daily by a vicious bird while doing his rounds
The fowl-tempered bird — dubbed “Mr Attitude” by locals — flies up in his face, chases him from door to door and attacks his van.
Barry, who first encountered him a month ago, said: “At first he seemed friendly then he got more and more vicious.”
Fearless featherweight ... Mr Attitude attacks Barry’s van
Farmers have offered to shoot the bird in Dunsley, North Yorks — but Barry is not game for that.
He said: “I don’t want him killed — just to stop hassling me.”
So cocky ... village’s bullying bird
North News
Simon Mayes, of the World Pheasant Association, said the bird was being territorial.
“Barry needs to show who’s boss,” he said.

Re: Unpleasant-pheasant
I had the same a couple of years ago and the pheasant would attack anything and everything, me included.
after about a week I did'nt see it, so asked someone and they said that the pheasant had followed them into the house and started to attack them, so she cracked it over the head with a broom and killed it.
my DIM did'nt believe me at first, but I will show him the above link.

Sorry Barry..
Barry said about his dom: “I don’t want him killed — just to stop hassling me.” and 'can't you do something about that pheasant will you're at it.. '.
(Yes,Yes, apologies to all concerned, Yours ever so sincerely, etc etc. (is it just because 'we've no proof no animals were harmed in the making of this reply' or something?))

He needs to speak to the pheasant plucker.....or his son.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
