Wage Slip Issue?

Post by Rafiki »

Hello,

On the last week before Christmas I weren't paid. Everybody found this out on the 28th December, when we received a wage slip of £0. As the casuals were doing an extra two weeks we were told the payroll lady messed it all up before she went on holiday. So I continued that week Boxing Day 11 hours, Thursday 7.30 hours and Friday 7.30 hours on the night shift. The week later I worked 11 hours on New Years Day, 7.30 hours on Wednesday, 7.30 hours on Thursday and 7.30 hours on Friday night. That week I had only been paid for the week before Christmas. This week I have received a wage slip with the arrears and last weeks work. Yet I feel I have been overpaid. Unless I was paid extra on Boxing Day and New Years Day.

This is what it looks like. Casual Nights, Arrears of Casual Nights, Casual Days Sunday, Arrears of Casual Days Sunday, Casual Nights Sunday and Arrears Of Casual Nights Sunday. This counts to 81.3 hours. I'm not sure if this is an error or they have paid us extra for Boxing Day and New Years Day but instead of putting the extra cost on they have done it in hours? Or have they just put extra cash on the wage slip for the inconvenience they had caused?

I am still yet to receive my Holiday Pay. I was told last week I would receive the payment on the 11th January, that is not included in this wage slip.

They owe me £195 in income tax as well now. Complained so many times about the tax and it's still accumulating somewhere other than my bank. P45 sent 4 weeks ago and no refund.
