Generally, our UK network operated well over the weekend the only service affecting issues involving capacity on services to Belfast which was fully utilised on Saturday and this meant that some mail was diverted to a road/ferry service. This may have some small affect on some mail posted on the UK mainland to BT postcodes. In addition some processing issues at Romford Mail Centre on Friday evening may mean a delay to a small amount of mail posted in IG and RM for delivery on Saturday in Yorkshire, Humberside, Greater Manchester, Chester and in North Wales.

How they get away with all these delays is beyond me.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
