Flexibility.

Post by Taitch »

I got a call at ten past one to say my overtime at two had been cancelled. Luckily I didn't even know I was ticked off so hadn't set off for work which I would have done well before one o'clock.
This is the kind of s**t we'll be expected to live with.

But luckily a casual will be now delivering that mail at a higher cost to the company than you.

Just think of how they come up with these ideas!

Cut full time indoor hours and leave the d.o's struggling.

Clever that!

They tried something similar with one of my collegues on Monday. He turned up for work, only to be told that his overtime had been cancelled. This was dispite being told on the Friday that he had got it. :d'oh! Luckily they (eventually) agreed to let him do it, but told him that in future he should phone work first to confirm that nothing has changed over the weekend. :d'oh! :no no
