Payment in arrears ??Any ideas ?

Whats all this then ????, i just received a payslip and its-36 hours in arrears ..

Rang hotline and a message says due to bank holidays it will show payment arrears and payments will be rectified in following weeks ...

What if people are depending on this money to live ...

Same here. Just received my payslip and it's fifteen hours short. Phoned the helpline and soon as I heard 'payroll was run early' I figured it out. Looks like the cut-off point was Thursday 20th as the four hours o/t I did on that day was included. Phoned a couple of the others I'd been working with but they haven't had their post yet,so warned them what was going on. As long as the missing two days are paid,hopefully,next week,I don't mind so much but I take your point that people may be relying on the payment and,as the chap I've just spoken to put it,management could have let us know before we finished rather than leave us to find out like this.

I have had the same problem which is quite frustrating! I received my pay slip today to find out I will be paid about 15 hours less than expected. I thought there had just been an error so i have been trying to frantically call around to query my pay. I have spent nearly 20 minutes or so calling the casual number provided which is very expensive if you are calling from a mobile and got no answer.
Is there a landline number that I can call to query this and make sure I will be paid the remaining hours next week?

according to my payslip, i only got paid for 3 shifts. mon tuesday and wednesday. what happens to thursday and friday? am i getting that next week?

It would of been helpful if they mentioned that payroll was run early in the messages section of the payslip. It would of saves me from having to use a few choice words when I first saw the payslip.

did you all ring the number on the back of the payslip 0845 6060603 or the number where it says messages on the payslip 0845 8500081? mine didn't include anything from thursday onwards so only been paid for tuesday and wednesday last week.

everyone in pretty much same situation, just dont get why we weren't notified in advance.

Pretty ridiculous that RM couldn't notify staff in advance, or at least put this down on the payslip instead of just a mysterious arrears deduction.

I received a full pay for my normal shifts but what about my overtime on Saturday the week before...

I got my slip with arrears on today, but its 7.5 hours normal, 7.5 hours Sunday short, plus it's missing the three extra days they asked me to do after christmas. Sigh
