P45 royal mail

I'm a part time student,worked in royal mail as a casual, also sent p45, now that job is finished i wanted to apply for jsa but someone told me that i would need p45 letter to do it..
Dahell?
What do i do now? :vcfo

You should get your P45 from HR by mid to late Jan.

should i wait until then to apply so i can also give a p45 to them and claim jsa from the day i left royal mail, or can i re-apply right away without the p45?

Re-apply and tell them RM have told you it will be late January before you get it.

You don't even need a P45 to apply for Job Seekers. Just apply and tell them you recently finished casual employment.

You DO NOT actually need a P45 to claim JSA (contributions based). You can do a rapid claim/reclaim online or ring an 0845 number!
