Probably today (20th) or tomorrow (21st) a couple of times in the we have been asked to do extra, but i can't see it this year due to the mail centre closing in Feb. and most work been transferred already, Plus also if they need extra staff they seem to use Manpower (not Rm/ Angard) casuals.

Contracted until Friday night (into Saturday morning), but a "decision will be made" about the weekend in the next 48 hours.

06:00AM - 22nd December. I was offered Weekend Work, I have done every other week and felt knackered with no time to rest. Back in on the 26th to the 4th January. The person had the nerve to say can we not persuade you? The cheek on that. Just because The Royal Mail Staff have told them no, they are desperately relying on the casuals to fill in on the weekends and after Christmas. With the pay remaining the same.

Stoke MDEC finished mainly Tuesday, and some people (me included) survived until Wednesday. Now I am waiting to hear back about Christmas Eve, which I think I might qualify for because I agreed to do it and I was one of the best performers, but it could always randomly not happen, this being RM/Angard :Applause

The night shift lot finished on Saturday morning where I am, but some of us were offered work today during the day. It was meant to be for 8 hours but only lasted 4 as Medway had nothing to send over or decided not to end anything more over, other than the 6 yorks they sent on an artic :d'oh! .

I was asked to stay on after the 21st, my Name was put forward, The Signing on off Manager, asked me
to stay working for Royal Mail, I thought brilliant! Then told 6 Hours later I wasn't on the list, but my Name was put
by Ahmir from Hemel to Eddie on CFC. The Signing off Manager told me to look for a bald guy in shorts,
I said who is that? I have only been here 3 Weeks, I found the bald guy in HR, he didn't want to know and told
me to see the Signing on off Manager, and he said it's out of my hands, I can't be mucked about like this,
I still don't know if I have a Job, every Phone Number I have tried I can't get through to anyone, such a shame,
I have loved work with the people, and Managers on CFC, it's the 1st time in 24 Years I have enjoyed going into
work, just wish there was a way I could ask, but not getting much luck with automated HR. Thanks Paul.
