If they have not been able to process your P45/P46 for this payslip you will be on emergency tax.

Actually not that unusal - I had to contact them about tax on my HM Forces Pension and they didn't know I was working for Royal Mail, I'd been working for them for 5 years then. Got a nice rebate though.

I'm not sure if I've been paid the wrong amount or just confused about which days I'm including.

The working week goes from Sunday to Saturday, right?

my pay slip has the wrong hours this week so iv been paid incorrectly. i just dont get how they got my hours wrong though? it already has my "total hours worked" printed on my signing in/out sheet. last year we had to write the time in as well, but this year its already done for us so how they got my hours wrong is beyond me. 3 hours less. not even sure who im suppose to contact regarding this, any ideas? the people that handle the sheets at my local unit gave me the number on the payslip lol. i could have figured that one for myself.

Sounds like they have removed your unpad breaks from your total hours to get your hours minus official breaks - they usually do this.

No.

Depends on if you are Angard or RM.

Angard goes from Saturday to Friday: RM should go from Monday to Sunday. There could also be slight difference dependent upon when you finish work. Angard cut off is 10pm Friday night so if you are doing a night shift that will be paid the following week as the Friday night shift will not be put in until after the cut off.

the first pay slip had 35.15 hours, and the second one had 34.15, heres hoping the next one isnt 33.15. its suppose to be 36.15 as the sheet says "7.15 total hours". that is with the break deducted as with the break it would be 7hr 45mins. still not even got around to sorting this as well as im not sure who to speak to. i will just have to give the xmas pay query line a ring and see what they have to say.
