DELIVERING a large cheque to road victim charity RoadPeace are three Exeter postmen.
The three, Phil Irish, Alex Myers and Dave Salt, raised the grand sum of £1,353 by cycling between Land's End and John O'Groats.
They presented the cheque to Royal Mail colleague Jeff Baker, a trustee of the charity.
The money will be used to fund the RoadPeace helpline and befriending network to help those bereaved, injured and traumatised by road crashes and also to update practical information guides for victims, that explain post-crash legal procedures.
These include charging decisions, going to court, inquests and road deaths and road-death investigation.
