No - as long as you are employed by Royal Mail and on full pay (ie not half pay or no pay because of sickness) during the Christmas pressure period (normally late November onwards) you will get £100 pro rata (£200 next year)

Although if you go official action its reduced by 3% for each day of the strike and 10% if unofficial (Midnight to Midnight).

Angardies and Royal Mail casuals don't get it, but RM permanent and temps do.

Christmas Bonus Supplement

The Christmas bonus supplement of £100 for full time OPG and OSGs (pro-rated for part timers) will be paid on Friday 21 December. The eligibility criteria for the Christmas bonus payment will be the same as last year, based on the four December weeks (commencing 26 November). In the unlikely event of any industrial action the abatement criteria will be drawn from the PBS agreement.

They always say that as they don't understand the rules completely There is no hidden motive but when I was off sick over Christmas 2 years ago I got the full bonus. Of course I could be wrong but in this case I don't think so.

If you go sick a letter asking you to attend an interview within one day if you have broken your back!
And secondly they will constantly harass you into coming back to work before you should!
Nail the letter box up put the phone on the hook it's only £25

im off sick at the min, a mate from work gave me a txt saying the manager told him anyone who hasnt worked the xmas period WONT be getting the xmas bonus. is this true? im on full pay.
