"failing to back down" - come on David you are simply having a frank exchange of views, it is unfortunate that your opponent in this case is one of the most highly regarded and respected posters on here. As to Fishtank attacking you, I as a Moderator don't think any line has been crossed, a close call or two maybe but not on FTs part, but none crossed yet.

As to making assumptions, we all do that, we have to as no one post a lot of information about themselves on here, even you.

David, the leech reference was not aimed at you but the companies such such as TNT, UK Mail etc which has been allowed to cream off the profitable side of the business. this creates untold pressure on the rest of the business with the management cutting every possible corner to make up this shortfall.

David, those comments are far from reactionary . many people on here have been banging on about the many problems in RM such as poor management, unachievable workloads, poor service etc etc for years. after 10 years you come on here with your post, where have you been all this time ? most of the people on here are ordinary posties trying to do a days work in spite of all the problems.
RM is about to be privatised and if privatisation per se is anyones idea of being for the benefit of all, i am Mickey Mouse ...
