Yeah my six months is nearly up due to previous absences.

Would you like to furnish some? Is the assault being investigated and has the man been suspended OR is there some doubt involved?

The individual who committed the alleged attack should have been suspended straight away. RM should have started investigation and kept you informed of process. If you are in the union then approach your rep to find out what is happening. The 6 month rule stands so if the individual is not on the premises you should be able to return to work before the 6 month is up.

No she said the six months was up due to previous absences - presumably not a succession of assaults, however she does seem a little reticent to answer any direct questions and that in itself is a worrying sign.

Sorry I was getting mixed up,but still sounds like she's kicking the ass out of it,there are 2 sides to every story.

Am I missing something here? Why did you not get the police involved straight away? you said he admitted assault and assault is a criminal offence ...(well it was last time I heard, if they have changed the law to allow assault someone please let me know, there are a few people I want to kick... )
You should have gone to the law straight away, especially as he admitted it imo...
