Well it isn't provision 318, the 318 is the duty log and even after revision although no longer called the 318 there is a duty log to show what your start time is, when you go on sorting, if you double prep, BREAK TIME, delivery time, finish time.
iv got a split meal relief options plan from mgmt desk which shows meal relief 20 mins 0925-0945 20mins
then meal relief 1410-1430 20mins duty end 1430 illegal and still being done all over country
not to mention no breaks at all and people finishing on street absolute joke all with cwu backing and support to rm at local levels
wonder if posties would feel the same if they knew how much mgmt bonuses are ,due to us making it possible for them with all our stupidity and illegal work practises

Porridge for me, summer and winter. No canteen but we all pay a few bob and get toast provided with tea/coffee half way through indoor work, rest of break taken out on delivery. Usually survive on two or three breakfast bars until get home for dinner.

There is always time for Royal Mail paid meal relief, 40 minutes if you work 7 to 8hours59mins. We all get paid ~£7-50 everyday before tax to recharge during our working day, even more if you do overtime (10 mins extra for going past 9/11/13 hours).

Cereal and caffeine before heading to work, 9 times out of 10.

That's not illegal.

No.
It tastes like what i would imagine the bottom of a budgie's cage would.
It's also marketed at middle aged, middle class people called Annie and Martin who go for walks up Hampton Hill...they probably have bowel problems.

In my 20 something years at RM I have never been able to face breakfast at silly O'clock. In the 'good old days' always had breakfast between the first and second delivery. Now have brekky before i go out on delivery which is the same time as it was in the'good old days'!
Only about a third of the staff have a break in the office it's quite an inclusive club!
