Letter, need explanation.

Post by h123er2 »

Earlier today received a letter, its kinda strange cuz it doesn't mention what its about..
So basically thats what I see..
A Table.. saying
Pay number
tax period
ni number
payment date
ni table
psy method
tax referance
pay rate
tax code
office

"royal mail ltd adjust rated of pay and arrears are provisional, being subject to check, and underpayments will be corrected, payees will be liable to refund any overpayment"

Btw, today was my induction day. :mad

Sounds very similar to the statements that we used to get from Angard. Ask someone in your duty room.

It's a pay slip, everybody who will work for Royal Mail this year, seems to be on a big BAC roll and there already sending out payslips because people are already working at different dates.

I received a payslip for £0.00, before anyone thinks "oh no here we go again", I only started on Monday so wasn't expecting anything plus I'm working for royal mail not "shamgard". I think it was just Royal mail letting you know you were on the pay roll.
