At our Mail Centre the casuals get allocated 30mins for an 8 hour shift.

The last time I was there we got a 50 minute lunch break then a 10 minute tea break near the end of the shift. That was a couple of years ago so I'm not sure about now, would have thought it was the same.

The way I understand it is that all get paid breaks except for Angardees in their first 12 weeks. Extra breaks at MC's could be down to local agreements.

When we were RM casuals at Christmas and as regular RM casuals we never got paid breaks. We only acheived paid breaks with Angard once qualified for AWR.

YDC get 40 mins at 1am or 2am and 20 mins at 3:55am.

Even though we have an hour on break, we are paid 7.5 for the shift.
