Started as Keyer

Post by rajstyle0485 »

Hi,

I have started my training yesterday as a Christmas temperory DATA ENTRY KEYER at Stockport. I went through two assessments, one was yesterday and another one today. the percentages were around 70 for both.

Another 3 days training left. Can any one advise me What will be happen now?

At the end of training how do they assess? Do they assess on a daily assessment or average or do they conduct a final test?

Pls advice. :hmmmm

I did my assessment two weeks ago and I start tomorrow with an hours training, then my shift starts from what I was told

I think I got 90 something on the assessment and the woman who phoned me said I was very high on the list, I suppose it depends on what percentage you got on the assessment to what amount of training they think you need

I think you are referring to the assessment on the day of interview. I got 87% on that assessment.

I was talking about the training after we started. There will be some more assessments during the training sessions.

There is a final test on the Friday from what I remember, you get lot's of practice before the actual test though (i've worked there the last 2 Christmas's) :)

I think everyone has the same amount of training unless you've worked there before that is :), I've worked at the mdec for christmas twice before and even i'm getting 2 days reminder training beginning Thursday, there's a lot to teach they couldn't do it in an hour, it's more complicated than the initial assesment during the 'interview' :)

People are starting at Stoke this week? I was told the earliest they were starting was next Monday. Hmm.

Mind you I did do it last year.

I have another question here:
Though i started on 26th November, my status on RM website still shows as "Processing security checks". Is any one in the same situation?

Im at Stockport to mate, started today as a returner, got 2 days training and then 2 assessments, usually fairly simple compared to the actual thing... Dont worry about your status at all, that wont affect you... What shift you doing?
