I should imagine RM are able to shift hours easily, as long as they are resonable.

The one issue I have with the later starts/later delivery times - if we're working until 14:45, how can we "endeavour" to deliver the mail by 14:00 as set out in the licence agreement?

It's the customers who lose out once again.

Annualized pay would mean we'd just get the same pay each MONTH (52 weeks divided by 12 pay packets), but wouldn't the move from a set 40 hr week to "flexi" time mean a change in contract?

Thats calendar moths Robmacca, four weekly is actually 53 weeks believe it or not, I hope they don't fecking convert to calendar months that would mean another back door pay cut.

I'm out sick at present, so I'm not getting much info, I've heard that RM are changing our pay from weekly to monthly, is this true and if so have the union agreed this?

Well, they can try change our pay from weekly to monthly, but seeing as how it's planned for march 2008, and whatt with all the I/A about to start up, resulting in perhaps the dismissal of AL/AC (we hope), i wouldn't pay too much attention to that just yet.

First things first, let's get these two knucklescrapers out the business and start again..

Yes they are trying to its part of the offer.

No the Union are fighting it.

just got mine this morning, glad to see its a template, thought my dum was a smart ass but hes just down loaded it from the R.M. BULLSHIT SITE. BUT WE DO NEED TO FIND OUT WHERE WE STAND LEGALLY BEFORE 10TH OCT

i just been in touch with acas and they said they cant force me to change my hours as im currently p/t and start at 6.30 and finnish at 12.30 and they want me to now start at 8.15 to 14.15 which i couldnt do due to family commitments and they said if a full timer can start at 6.15 so can i and if they refuse i could take them to court for discrimination against p/t workers heres the link and its all official and will be writing letter to my dom and will keep you posted on how it goes .

Again, we need the CWU at area and national level to work, and work quickly. ACAS guidelines are plain for all to see. All it says in the contracts is to do with flexibility, not about start times.

I haven't seen mine in years, but it was pale blue with G.P.O. on the top of the page. Even my badge said G.P.O. as did the buttons on the overcoat etc. Soon they will say D.S.A. the way it's going.
