there was also going to be an independent valuation to be carried out to determine colleague share value.. what has happened to that..

NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN ROYAL MAIL HAVE MADE BIG PROFITS, INTERIM PROFIT OF £144 MILLION..

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE...
But if you look at turnover to profit. In the grand scheme of things it relates to the square root of Eff all

RM is always going to have a low profit to revenue ratio.
The only way around that is to make savings on your highest cost item(60-70%)....us.

Agree with that. Was just trying to make the point on profitability.

And you are completely right ; we are the target as the biggest cost. Hence park and loop?

dingo wrote:Royal Mail could hardly pay out colleague share money at the same time they had the begging bowl out to the European Commission.
No but they could pay out £24,986,626 in performance-related bonuses to managers at the same time they had the begging bowl out to the European Commission.
The reality is that colleague share was always a con and the revaluation of the company by Royal Mail was also a con.
How is that independent valuation, commissioned and paid for by members of the CWU going anyway.
Seems to be taking an age.....

Any mistake at royal mail will be judged at a far higher level, even more so if you have a full time contract, management are after heads, so they get a cut.
