It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Two things that continually piss me off are:

The term "Our People"

And upon googling "Network 2007", i can't find fuckall listed explaining anything relating to speed limits/later start times (by law).

Jeezus, a very interesting read above. A complete insight in to how those clowns run the business.
Am not surprised the CWU are using the phrase " draconian and destructive proposals "

The CWU should send a copy to every member. The contents would guarantee 100% support for strike action.

You read it right - it's in the proposals they wanted the CWU to agree to on 9/9.
It is so they can implement annualised (bankable) hours.

No, you didn't read that wrong. Monthly pay has been on RM's wish-list for as long as I have been in the job. Now they've got the drivers on it, anyone could've guessed they'd try to impose it on everyone else too. I said it a few weeks ago, it stands to reason they would need to introduce this as a consequence of flexible working

Well, then, i think this next I/A should see us all become much more vocal. Placards with Leighton/Crozier OUT, posters showing the above, organised chants of Crozier OUT, OUT, OUT, Leighton OUT, OUT, OUT..

This isn't the way forward. It's a disaster of mind blowing proportations in the offing. I CANNOT understand why the government can't take a closer look at this shambles and warn AL/AC of their outrageous plans.

Where the f**k in all of that above is there a mention of "modernisation"? Show me, because i can't find it. Unless, like the latest scam with the shares, it'll be a hidden agenda within.

Yes, its a constant source of annoyance if they are referring to us. I assume they must be referring to the three nuggets on the Runcorn video. They're definately 'their people'.
