Postal worker hurt as van is hijacked in west Belfast
A postal worker has been injured in a hijacking in west Belfast.
Two men forced him out of the van he was driving on Springfield Avenue shortly after 11:10 GMT on Wednesday.
Police believe the hijackers had two dogs with them. One of the men drove off in the van while the other escaped on foot towards Springfield Road.
The postal worker sustained injuries to his legs and was treated in hospital but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
Detectives have appealed for anyone with information about the hijacking to contact them.
