I applied for the Flexible Casual Working position in June, I heard nothing back till August when a phone interview was carried out then before the end of August I went into the mail centre to get my document checks and sign the contract + bank details and I was told I would be contacted in the next 10-14 days. 7 weeks passed and I'd heard nothing so I decided to get in touch but every time I got in touch I was told by somebody they wasn't at their desk at the moment but they'd contact be back within 30 Mins - 1 Hour or definitely before the end of the day - Never Happened.
When I finally managed to speak to someone who was at their desk I was told my security check hadn't been started (9 weeks later) and they would process it now. At this stage I had already received my ID badge in the post within the 10-14 day period after the contract signing. 3 weeks later still heard nothing back so today I decided to log in to my applications on the royal website to see the application status had changed.
June > August - Application Received
August > October - Interview Booked
October > November - Processing Security Checks
November > **Submitted**
Has anybody else experienced this or know what is meant by **Submitted** ?

Re: Application Status
I have looked through my previous applications for both Angard and RM but no "submitted" status, only "application submitted" which is likely equivalent to your earlier stage "application received".
Maybe "submitted" means your details will be included in lists to RM location managers who request casuals from a local "pool". Sorry I can't be of more help.
