It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

That's gonna depend on what you're driving isn't it?
The LDV combi crew bus van is classed as an MGV so you will get the assigned allowance, a smaller crewbus won't get the allowance.
You're not getting the money for conveyance you're getting it for driving an MGV, it's classed the same as a 740cf lorry.
