I started in 1990, it does not state start times but it also does not state that they can change your hours!

We didn't have one this week, and the one for last week was the cwfs society telling us to save money, failing that i thought wtl was something that all workpeople suppose to attend weekly, so why does ares only happen once in a blue moon?

Just thought I'd resurrect this ol' thread with the news that my DO is so short of people for IPS in the morning now, that the PTs on 30hr contracts might get bumped up to 35 - although my rep will try and get a couple of us ( based on seniority :left: ) onto 40hrs :dance :dance :dance
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Don't question why your office has one of those morale sapping exercises in futility once in a blue moon, just thank your lucky stars you do.
Ours is a regular occurance, I'm sorry to say.

We've had 1 in 5 months of course in the last HYS it was flagged up as falling below the safety net but since then it's gotten worse.

If any of us posties didn't do what was required in the job then we'd have been sacked but because it's a manager (who's being protected by his boss) then it's ok.

I've not been to WTL for over 2 years, have I missed anything?
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

I disagree, it's 30mins when you can have a quick doze to refresh yourself for the coming delivery

When we had the heatwave (remember that?) the DOM warbled on for a good 30 mins about changing your walk so its done in the shade :Very Happy. Our new ops manager took the second group. 30 seconds it took. He said he wasn't going to insult our inteligence by talking about the weather. Moral of the story; my DOM is a boring, bullying drip.

Ours was for drivers only so half of us just sat on our frames eating sarnies and waiting for the next lorry :cuppa

They said the general gist was that if they miss a collection or f**k up its straight down the disciplinary route etc.. A few said f**k it then they wouldn't bother doing afternoon SA's in the future if it could cost them their job.
