Thats good but I would still not recommend trying to hide it or obscure it. If they ask about it then I would declare it in the long run its the best thing to do.

However, just as a thought have you contacted the Rowland Hill fund they may be able to help http://www.rowlandhillfund.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Eligibility
In order to gain assistance from the fund you must meet the applicable below criteria:

If you are employed by Royal Mail, Post Office Ltd, Parcelforce Worldwide or General
Logistics you willneed to have completed 6 months service, either on a part time or full
time basis, before being eligible for help from the Fund. We are not able to help casual
workers.

If you are retired you need to be in receipt of an occupational pension, either in your
own right or as a widow/widower.

If you left the organisation before retirement age you must be a deferred pensioner to be
eligible for help. That is you remain a member of the pension plan, and will receive a pension
on reaching retirement age.

the problem here is two-fold,after reading on facebook that bad credit wont stop the loan ,i have promised my daughter the money (bond and deposit for new house ) and secondly ,the last time i applied for something and put my last address down ,somehow after having no dealings with former creditors for two years ,i got three phone calls and one letter in the following fortnight,this rekindle memories of losing my house etc (stopped when threatening them with the official receiver) so would rather know if this will block my application before applying. Is it possible to find out the rules on this -thanks. p.s i have never had any issues with personal credit ,until i took over a business and my bankruptcy arouse from that .
