Re: Christmas casual interview
I had mine on Tuesday, and it was just a presentation. They checked all your forms, id etc and asked you to fill out some more forms and what shifts you want to do. There was no face to face interview.

Re: Christmas casual interview
Not to be rude but there are so many threads on this subject.
Every new thread seems to be something that has already been answered recently.
It is not a interview by the way. It's a registration event. It's very simple. I don't even think you need to have a charm about you for this event. Sit at a desk, bring the correct documentation and it's all done. You don't even really need to talk apart from handing over the documents and telling them what date and time would be best for you to start work.

Re: Christmas casual interview
What role is it you are going for? Mail Sorting, Data Entry, post or a permanent position? Registrations take about 10 minutes if it's a temporary Christmas role.
Mine said 12:30 - 13:30. I was there for about 10 minutes but as it wasn't busy the registration was very quick.

Re: Christmas casual interview
I would like to do Data Entry Christmas Casual for IT experience :/. They never seem to advertise them positions as available in Manchester. Mail Sorting does not help me get into IT Apprenticeships.Kirstyland wrote:Data entry Christmas casual. It's at 10am-12am says its a face-face interview and assessment xx
I Can't really help you but I can't see it being that difficult. The interview should be very basic and if they have you doing a test that should be very basic too. As long as you are decent using a computer you should ace that. If it is set out like a registration event though you have nothing to worry about as all you do is hand over documentation.

Re: Christmas casual interview
Its reassuring that there is no face to face interview. I really don't handle interviews well but I know I can do the job, seems really straight forward :). Good luck!

AFAIK there are only 3 MDEC Centres in the UK, the closest to Manchester are the ones in Stoke or Stockport , the other is in Plymouth.Rafiki wrote:I would like to do Data Entry Christmas Casual for IT experience :/. Mine lasted about an hour, and as said before, no interview, and certainly no assessment. Mine was in Plymouth.Kirstyland wrote:Thanks for the reply feel so much better now. Its says its a 2 hour interview was your two hours too?
