Police won't do anything unless proper evidence. People just have to get on with work and hope nothing happens and it just blows over. Although RM are responsible for the safety of its workers at work. In work - RM responsiblity. Out of work - Police matter/RM matter, as it orginated from RM.

In truth I'd be reluctant to involve the police - it could make the return to work more problematic. It's imperative that this young woman gets back to full health and seeks advice from an independent source who could best advise her of the best course of action. What I would do is write a letter to the DOM and SOM and the union outlining the problem to date including the characters involved. If the worst happens there is documented evidence as to what has occurred.

What she is describing goes way beyond the remit of RM Bullying and Harassment procedure.

Its call a "Buy Down" however, it is not a generally available scheme that can be used at any time.

Its usually only offered during a revision when the budgeted number of hours are reduced and even then if they get enough EVRS they might not need to offer "Buy Downs".

there isn't another side to the story i did not ask for any of this, how would you feel if it was your wife or daughter? and its not as simple as sitting at home, i want to get back to normal more than anything thats why iv not gone to the police because it would only make things harder for me to go back to work

There are always two sides to any story and if it was my wife or daughter it would have been resolved long ago - one way or another. I am sorry you are in these circumstances jen but you must do something to resolve it. You are quite obviously distressed and unhappy but must make a choice as to what action to take.

Ask for a `compulsory transfer` to another office. You would keep your hours - if you want to, and get travel allowance/travel time.
You would be coming up with a constuctive solution to this issue, leave the bullys behind, get useless management of the hook and work in a nicer, happy office.

A Compulsory Transfer is when management moves you to another office, not a voluntary transfer which has conditions attached.
