After 12 weeks I had to telephone Angard to inform them that I had "done my time" and that I was now entitled to a proper wage, i.e.£9.73ph. This they agreed to. However after being payed a weeks wages at the new rate I have been payed £6.08ph this week. I don`t know if I am entitled to be payed for my D2Ds. :arrrghhh

Thank you for your email.
I have checked you file and can see that the payrate for the hours worked
on the w/e 28th September have now been adjusted to your correct AWR rate.
This adjustment is on track to appear in your payslip with in the next 2
weeks.

I got paid my frst 3 weeks once AWR qualified at minimum wage before they partly paid me the AWR rate (after about 2 months discussions/requests). Then I found out the AWR rate depends on the shift I worked - took me 6 months (lots of telephone calls/e-mails) from first qualifying for AWR to finally get all my pay for the first 3 weeks of AWR (i.e. the correct pay for the shifts I worked).

Also, you get a pay rise after working 6 months too - you may need to remind them of this as well.

Obviously they have messed your wages up and you'll need to see the screw there,regarding D2D's you should be entitled to the delivery supplement payment,again see your screw,or at least the rep there.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Angard really screw up badly with the switch over when you get onto proper wages - keep emailing/phoning - pester them until you get the proper wage and any money owed paid.
