All we have been told over the past few months is that this is a good deal and you aint going to get a better offer.
How the repeatedly spew out the companies lies is beyond me..
The office boys were close to tears this morning when someone brought the subject up. They're not taking it too well at all. Can it be just seven weeks since they were grinning like the apes they are as they drove past the picket line on their way to deliver RMSD's? Why don't they do what they always tell us to do? Find another job which suits you better. I'm all for giving them support. There's ten yards of rope in the garden shed. That should support two of them at least.

It'll probably be an 100% yes vote for strike action, but then the spineless c###s will all come in and scab

I don't think they will be balloted, because if they vote yes, then they're in the s**t even further, we all know that if no DOMs are about, the job will be still get done, and there are enough garbbers who will divi out the OT amongst them selves.

It's only when we go out that the mail doesn't get delivered.

Plus unless they pick the same days as ours, they will not have any support, and I can't say I want them on the picket with me, thanks very much!

Not sure what the figure is but under H&S there must be a manager for a certain amount of workers, so if we are in while they are out and there are not enough managers to fulfill H&S regulations then it's home time with pay :Very Happy

I'll have some of that mate! In for 6.30, home by 8.00, just like the office boys on a Saturday morning.

Years ago the managers went on strike as the lads went in the gate in thier cars they all waved as thats how they had been treated in the past, the office for the first time was clear and all the mail went out on the correct despatches and everyone had thier breaks plus extra, thing is nobody really noticed that the managers were not there, they like to think that they are the ones who hold the offices together but the managers must see that they are not, without us they would'nt have a job. :nana
