great work guys.
now got an app on my phone which shows there is a definate descrepancy between the two walks that have been put together. either mines right and the other one is shortish. or tother way round and mine is too long and the other is correct.
i;ve now got times per loop and number of steps for each loop and the good news is the planner is coming in next week to review all our walks and ours are near the top of the list for checking..
thanks again.

Good news.

Which App did you use? I think it is a good idea for there to be some form of standardisation and all OPGs who want to conduct such an exercise should ideally be using identical software so there is uniformity of results and they can be fairly compared. I realise that this is all unofficial but the more evidence the better.

I agree that it would be ideal to use a standard app. I also agree that RM will ignore any "Proof" that you care to provide, if it contradicts their figures. :no no I personally use a Silva Pedometer (costs about £22) only measures distance in Kms/Miles and Paces. It amuses me and it's quite interesting to see how a busy day can add about 2 miles (3.6 kms) to a duty. I'm averaging about 10 miles a day......saves me going for a run in the evening! :Very Happy
