Royal Mail delivered the overwhelming majority of mail on target in the April to June period, according to independent research. It beat its Second Class mail and standard retail parcels quality targets and came in just 0.1% below the First Class mails target
Royal Mail has amongst the highest quality of service requirements in Europe
98.6% of Second Class mail was delivered within three working days of posting, against a target of 98.5%
97.1% of standard retail parcels were delivered on time versus a target of 90.0%
92.9% of First Class mail was delivered the next working day after posting, just below the 93.0% target by 0.1%, according to independent measurement.
