The sky is white as clay, with no sun.
Work has to be done.

Re: absorbtion/summer lapsing
its very simple.
you inform dom that you do not think you will be able to complete
he/she then gives you insturctions on how to proceed
they then have to write it into the daily log and you have a right to see it before you go out.
now you are covered as long as you follow the instructions to bring back mail

Re: absorbtion/summer lapsing
sorry it is driving me nuts.
i wanna download a copy of the 2010 and beyond agreement..i know its here somewhere.
in my small office of about 16 we have two on holiday at one time.but now we have one emergancy transfer guy gone and one broken ankel
upon which we were already short staffed.
Manager decided on thursday to have our resource meeting but couldnt supply the duty rota as its very difficult .
he had already been around asking full timers to work there days off for 6 hours instead of 8 and some agreeed.
long story short on thursday alone with no change of hours our efficentcy is predicted to be 120 bsi
overall for the week of 103
i already know that at least two full time rounds will be covered by people not doing ips (he says a steer from our new dsm in taunton who has told him to use the iwt but also tells the managers they know what can really be done so do it). that lapsing is on for monday and tuesday , same on wednesday
i told him i wont agree anything without all the correct data and we agreed to review it later
welll friday he went missing and we have the only dom that refuses to work saturdays..and bam the rota goes up with lapsing , absorption. full timers doing part time hours.....and no agreement
first we should be doing it two weeks in advance not rota up saturday for monday
second...zero agreement
third (my fault) sedulallling regular meetings.
fourth ,new dsm side stepping the iwt tool and telling managers to save save save.also he has to pre approve hours for each unit.
point me in the right directions cos im filling out a disagreement on each and want to point to the exact paragraphs and documents.
please help as ive fallen down just trying to locate the 2010 agreement which i think says no absorbtion/overtime can be performed without agreement by the union rep using the iwt

Happens all the time. Two days last week I finished 1.5 hours early. Doing the job properly. In a 'failing' office.

What time does the nursery open tomorrow?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
