ROYAL Mail is making some changes to the way it delivers mail in Helensburgh over the next few weeks.
From Today (August 27) postmen and women will use new delivery methods and adopt revised delivery routes as these changes are introduced on a phased basis.
Royal Mail provides one of the most comprehensive and best value mail services in the world.
Our postmen and women play a vital role in Helensburgh, however, we need to modernise the way we operate.
We are therefore making changes in Helensburgh to maintain our services and to keep our prices as low as possible.
Royal Mail will continue to deliver in the morning and for a longer period during the day.
Many customers will continue to get their mail by lunchtime.
The time customers receive mail will depend on where they live on the new delivery route. This may be later or possibly earlier than current delivery times.
When mail volumes vary, we may need to adjust delivery arrangements and times.
Royal Mail's Collections and Delivery Sector Manager, Ms Deborah Rodger said: "We are proud of the high regard in which our postmen and women are held in Helensburgh. The changes to delivery routes will mean that a member of our local and experienced team will still be delivering to our customers in Helensburgh."
"The local delivery team and I are fully committed to providing a high quality of service that is as reliable and friendly as customers have come to expect from Royal Mail in Helensburgh over many years."
If customers have any queries, they can call our Customer Services Team on 0845 601 1399

Re: Changes to Royal Mail services in Helensburgh
Is Ms Deborah Rodger reading from a card RM made earlier,as i could almost
swear that i've heard those words before "We are proud of the high regard our
postmen/women are held in....Anytown....blah blah blah".Just tell the folk
the truth"As of Monday your mail will be delivered later...like it or lump it.
Maybe these various DSMs around the country are reading from the same
card,is it possible all these DSMs are clones....... yes CLONES i said
what else could they be.

I sympathise with my colleagues across the river in advance. If what the planners did to the frames over here today is anything to go by, the road to a working revision is a long one.
The machine stops.

No longer look like frames ! Even double slots and some up to 2,000 calls ! Disgrace - I'd like to see the idiots who have destroyed this job go and deliver a round !Mr Rush wrote:I sympathise with my colleagues across the river in advance.
