@dblad
Had you read the posts you'd have noted that the wilful delay was related to any D2Ds left in the frame after having left on on Monday. The OP stated that every D2D is in the frame now and each day they only take out those intended for the properties they are going to with another item!
Of course none of them should be in your frame today because that is next weeks work. You have effectively shown your Manager that next week when everyone else is prep'ing their mail that you can be given something else to do for the expected duration of your D2D element of that task.

No, because if I cover on say a Tuedsay it's hard to pick round them all when I could pull a load out at once. Also if you have a letter for house number 2 and 6 but come to a D2D after2 how do you know whether it's meant for 2? or did you accidentally pick up one for 4? or is it for 6 but the letter accidentally got put in after it? Someone with a business calls and complains they didn't get a D2D they paid for to be delivered to the area they live - who are you going to blame? How do you know who took what? It's a crap way of working.
Its even worse for double slotted fittings which we have a lot of. All because a few muppets want to save a bit of time in the week - but they still come in early

Re: d2ds
come in at your start time and do what you are meant to do. take your breaks. that will take you up to your finishing time. 30 hour contract = come in everything thrown in the frame including that days d2d's. 25 hour contract = the whole thing is tied up and ready to go for you. come in at your start time.
