Job Description

As Communications Manager you will devise, recommend and execute excellent and engaging internal communications activity, to build understanding and engagement among colleagues throughout the organisation.

You will write and produce content across a diverse range of channels, including TV programmes, posters and screens, team briefings and digital and print communications. You will also ensure that the appropriate measures are in place to evaluate message retention, impact and opinion among internal audiences, and will demonstrably utilise these results to adjust and improve communications within the business area.

With proven excellence in all forms of communications content, gained in either a business or media environment, you will also have an understanding of a mixture of traditional and digital communications channels with the ability to deliver integrated plans across multiple channels. Crucially an understanding of measurement and research principles is also required. Having an ability to devise, recommend and implement engaging communication strategies and campaigns across a large, complex, unionised organisation during a period of change is also needed.
