we have been doing 4.5 - 5 hour deliverys in Prestwick (Ayrshire) since single deliverys kicked in

There are numerous HCT duties in my gaff that go well beyond the planners' predicted timescale, turning them into 5+ hour delivery spans in addition to the outdoor portion of meal relief... That is if you do not lock up the trolley to do loops by pouch (breaking the SSOW regarding HCT use by leaving mail unattended for greater then 2/5/10 minutes depending upon the risk assessment of your depot, plus putting weight on your shoulder when you should be able to deliver without taking a pouch out with you now) and if you take your paid meal relief.
