Hi I have been offered a 3 month contract on 25 hours per week. I will be on cover working between 5 depots with driving.
The problem I have is I currently work self employed delivering parcels in my area. The recruitment lady told me I would have to give this up as I can not work for a rival (Yodel).
I don't know whether to accept? Am I likely to get more hours and a longer contract? Are they a good company to work for? I have to give them an answer tomorrow.
All help appreciated.

Re: HELP needed quickly
You may get more hours, you may get a permanent contract but it all depends on on the area, RM is not the greatest place to work at the moment but it's up to you whether it's better than Yodel.

Although if you do start remember one very important thing, Royal Mail are not allowd to leave items with neighbours without special permission (although this will soon change) whereas when you work for Yodel you can.
