display your share certifcate!
Hey i am tempted to frame my share certificate and place it above my frame!
I already qualify for £480 this year!
Now what do i need to do to get it? um.
Stay two hours late if needed, reasonable request after all its my firm.
Spend another 5 years, wouldn't want to leave too early, got to keep an eye on my fellow directors.
I won't be able to attach my certificate to the wall, as i could be sent to do any job anywhere, perhaps i should wear it around my neck.
My shares should do quite well considering all the overtime i am going to lose when we go over to the more economical system of covering for others when they are off.
If we manage to get my wages down by 25%, there should be plenty of money left for me after Mr leighton and Crozier and the rest of the board have taken their fair share.
If i have to stay till 65 i may only lose £11000 a year pension and may have to contribute only another £6000. Oh they may have to put contributions up just a little. So i may only lose £61000 in payouts and added contributions.
Also the Care part of my pension from 2010 may only be inferior to the final salary by only 19%..But hey it all goes towards my £5000 shares.
Oh to be a capitalist, it all makes sense!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

A SAD PLOY TO DISTRACT US
Here we go another ploy from Lazier and Dozier, to distract us from our real objectives. May be if Leighton had not been shafted by the government in his God Complex moment, when he thought he could tell elected politicians how the World and Royal Mail is going to be, he may well have had a knife to turn at this moment in time, should he of achieved the genuine article. However, a share certificate with all the hallmarks and credibility of the Bank of Toy Town is hardly going to get me glowing, as I would suspect most of you whom have received this glossy but nevertheless fake and guarantee deficient item, feel as well. I was going to mothball it but I don’t think it deserves that kind of care. I will however put it on top of my wardrobe to gather dust instead. At least it will have some use in the immediate future.
Sorry Lazier and Dozier you will have to do better than that to hoodwink us. We were not born yesterday so keep your toys for the children whom don’t understand. Our goals are the same as they were yesterday: better pay, to retain our jobs, to maintain and improve our working conditions and defend our pensions. Not to bet it all on a whim. Grow up and stop wasting the company cash on hollow all singing and dancing fanfare moments which are not deluding any of us.

Re: A SAD PLOY TO DISTRACT US
, his career history is full of gimmicks and self promotion - The Bar Code Blitz Party @ Asda was the best with a plastic bomb on the ceiling and people dressed in fake army uniforms . You'd have to be half cut on cheap Asda Plonk to fall for all that nonsense . He's Walmart through & through and they are used to doing what they like as they are so big until the backlash, the law suits & the film in the States . New Labour said he's high maintenance , that's just code for something less complimentary.Sorry Big Al but your'e not selling Mars Bars or dodgy biscuits anymore , this lot are very cynical for some reason.rhino49 wrote:Beautifully putI-POSTIE wrote:Here we go another ploy from Lazier and Dozier, to distract us from our real objectives.
