Nominations for the above position closed at 14.00 on 30 July 2012 and published below is a list of accepted nominations:

In addition there are a number of important items that I wish to bring to your attention, these being:

Despatch of Ballot Material

In line with the published regulations, the ballot papers for the above NEC vacancy will be despatched, as far as is reasonably practicable, from 7 August 2012. Additionally we will be using the same distribution arrangements as previously used in 2011 and once again to avoid duplication of postage costs, the August (Postal) edition of the Voice will be enclosed with the ballot material.

Election Prize Draws

Branches are once again reminded that in order to protect the integrity of this very important national election and, more importantly, ensure that the union is legally compliant with the relevant legislation covering such elections, that NEC election prize draws should not be conducted under any circumstances unless written authorisation has been given by the Senior Deputy General Secretary.
