hi all

hopefully going to be joining royal mail soon as postie waiting for security checks to finish i was hoping to find out what happens on the induction day and hw early it starts and rough idea on how long it goes on for as have to travel about 50 miles to get to bristol where ive been told it will be.

Hey Kirsty,

Its been over a year since I took part in the induction, but on mine i think it started at 9 or 10amish and lasted until 3 or 4 0clock.
The content was all pretty tedious really. We just had to listen to a few royal mail video clips about what to do and what not to do in terms of mail, van security etc. We also had to lift a sack that weighted 5 or 6 kg, which was more about the lifting technique rather than can you lift it or not.
