But the Japanese professor says this is the way to go...............just as he pisses himself laughing that he can't believe someone is actually falling for this crap

I would agree with you over the roller bed,it's a pointless gimmick but the mini yorks will hold 3-4 times as much as a drop bag.
The mini york bull-ring does work but you have to split your packet sorting down into sections which involves double handling so ideally you would hope your MC will do this for you ;liar and you do need plenty of room.
It doesn't really save time overall but reducing the complexity of your packet sorting increases throughput and reduces missorts.

In theory the mini yorks should hold more but the sleeve never seems to go down properly so you can't actually fill the york. Same thing with the full sized ones.

So who's word holds sway in this WCM malarkey that of an accredited CWU health and safety rep or one of these safety pillars (providing the CWU safety rep isn't also a safety pillar)?

What about all the bad backs from bending down picking up packets off the floor cause Bob's (why are they always called Bob?) throwing arm is having an off day.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
