Why cant you just take them ? It will take longer to prep, which means you will take longer to get out , which means more cut offs , whats the problem with that??

A number of our D2Ds have special offers that are dated - delivering the following week is not an option in that case!
I would also email Bob Gibson's department and notify him of what is going on. He can then follow it through so there is less likelihood of RM burying the issue.
