Advice needed : Radio issue

My first call of the day - the radio, which I turn down, to calls of miserable old bastard, f-cking twat - water off a ducks back - noise irritates me - strange really because I used to play guitar in a band..............still, I was so much older then - much younger than that now.

I dont think that a radio at a suitable level where people can still talk should be a problem.

Unless its tuned to Radio 1, turn that crap off :)

See, I like Radio 1 while all those commercial stations are painful to listen to............I know you can't please all the people, all the time........but you can certainly piss everybody off quite easily

Guitar or banjo?

Well I could say the ugly one with the banjo but in truth I was the ugly one with the guitar - and I wasn't squealing like a pig!!! I'm minded to publish a photo with my 12 stringer of many years ago - I can't play nowadays I have arthritis in my thumbs - I took my last guitar to the council tip a few months ago.

at the risk of sounding a little too grown up for my liking, could you not take 5 mins on a Tuesday morning and put it to a vote? seems to the the simplest answer, no risk of things getting too nasty.
of course some people wont like the result whichever way it goes, but as someone smarter that me once said. There's no I in TEAM but there is one in p*nis

Lol! You'd think that would be the sensible option but, as it's becoming clear by some posts here, then you've got the arguement about which station. Our office goes for two stations, a local one and Radio 2 but even they cause some contention (I don't really like either!). Maybe Radio 4 or Talk Radio is the answer as then there's no bloody moaning about the music....and we'd all get to listen to Woman's Hour and the Archers! Dum-de-dum-te-dum tee dum.....
