You can't tag your break on at the end.
The way forward only allows part of a split break to be used at the end of your duty.
The breaks that can be split are 40mins and above.
Take your break or flex...your choice.

I still get caught out by these threads...basically because i find it hard to believe that any member would want to work a shift without taking any break at all.

Hi if i take my break about 9 i wont get in one of the many flats i have to do cause no key fobs so what your saying is take my break at start or what

No take it in the middle where you're supposed to...and the flats aren't your problem.

So you use your own car on delivery and you don't take your break before dispatch? And you say your rep ain't that great?
Do your job properly before you complain about the job your rep is doing......

I still don't understand your maths....
You are entitled to a 30 minute meal relief, so how is your finish time 1.10 without a break.
That is 20 minutes - at least it was when I was at school.

sorry finish time is 1.40 without a break so got back to office at 1.00 pouch off use toilet wash hands also i shall be doing the job properley i only used me car as was handy for me but i shall do the job how it should be done and if i have to cut off then i shall have to just getting stressed with the manager thinking he can bully me and its getting me down

ok that is what i shall do from now on ill inform the manager i shall be taking my break half way thru my round

another thing is there is no bag drops on my round at all so what am i supposed to do and yes monkey if its raining on a bike ya knackered

sounds like your dom is getting away with murder - no bag drops? what happens when someone nicks ur car with all that mail in the back? Get a good union rep in quick

My break is always at the end of my shift. Everyone seems to do it. We are not (at the moment) forced to take any break beforehand in our office. There is no canteen anyway. There would be nothing to do.

Are you insured to use your car? I used my car for ages when I was a 'casual', the managers including the DOM said it was ok (different office to where I am now). Turned out I was not insured to do it, and faced 6 points (which would have lost me my license) and a hefty fine is stopped by police.

Are you insured to use your car? I used my car for ages when I was a 'casual', the managers including the DOM said it was ok (different office to where I am now). Turned out I was not insured to do it, and faced 6 points (which would have lost me my license) and a hefty fine is stopped by police.

well ive just cancelled my buisness insurance as i will deffo be doing it by bike why should i pay my petrol and i dont care about bag drops not my problem to manage that sort of detail from now on job done by the book

When park&loop arrives in your office it should eliminate use of private cars.
Is there anybody else in your office that is getting the same treatment? If you're on your own and If you really feel like your being singled out i'm sure someone on here will give you a point in the right direction for your area rep.

Some of the bullying by managers i have read on threads like this one is amazing. I know in some cases the individual should stand up and say enough, but if you're new, on your own, or just being singled out, sometimes you just don't want to rock the boat.

Park and loop is not coming to our office till at least 2014 as its only a samll office with about 45 walks
