Getting pretty unbearable. Out on the road longer and longer. Not much room for home life. Any thoughts? Or am I a cantankerous lazy bastard? Think yourself lucky to have a job? What kind of life is that? Any scope for common cause with DPD/TNT/UPS drivers feeling the same pressures? I've had it up to here...

Parcelforce/Delivery worker we are all in the same boat and it's shitty. I also do not think that just because jobs are harder to come by that this situation is acceptable.

I don't think you are lazy, we all should be given jobs where a fair days work for a fair days wage is the norm and a social life is also possible.

Unfortunately RM is run by complete w*****s and the union leaders aren't much better so I guess we are all kinda in the shitter!

Start looking for a new job. I've been looking for at least 12 months and whilst jobs with half decent money are few and far between I have applied for a few and had a couple of interviews. RM/PF don't give a s**t about anyone so instead of moaning on a forum start looking in your local paper and jobcentre.

I've been doing 80 drops a day ave on my route for the 4 years I've been doing it. I just take parcels off every day to take me down to that. The difference I've noticed is in the timed and collections they've more than doubled. Whilst this has happened my duty has been cut half hour a day!!! Cheeky c***s. Wait while they get the new systems in telling u what time and order to do your routes......
