give me strength

Post by jafferpants »

Did anyone see our head honcho on tv yesterday. When asked what was wrong with the offer he said it would take to long to explain. So how long would it have taken to say that no one in this country would work for nothing so they should not expect us to. At least it would have given people some idea about the dispute instead of them thinking we are just greedy bastard's after more money, and can anybody tell me with the millions we pay in sub's why the union hasn't taken a full page add in the national's telling people exactly what the problem is.

With regards to the newspaper suggestion, our area rep was going to do it up here in the local rags and the prices that he was quoted were horrendous, something like 10+ grand..... Don`t quote me though as I wasn`t paying 100% attention at the time
Thats as maybe but with the union taking at least 2 million a month in subs my point still stands
