bit more mail than the usual tuesday on a easy walk tho so want to bad, had one hot heads in my office offer me outside for a fight which was pretty funny to me, he left his van with the diesiel light flashing yesterday after his run, so i put 15 litres in for my schedule abit petty but i refuse to fill vans up that some lazy buggers left and put a comment in log book of fuel empty on takeover, as soon as i walked in door this morning was up in my face accusing me of calling him a lazy basterd cos the comment in book lol i didnt even mention it to any 1 , told him 2getout my face asked me what am i gona do about and offered me outside lol what a tool

Still on holiday. Frustrating day changing a lock and getting the shopping done a lot later than I would have liked.

A lightish day for a Wednesday and the best news a bunch of postal fairies came and collected the overweight Big Books I had left under my frame since Monday.

I've never known a walk be as heavy as this one I'm covering right now, considering this is the time of year associated with the light "model week" ... I filled my HCT ~2.5 times yesterday, it was like Xmas but in mid summer!

Pretty average day mail wise other than the BB books but i was lucky today and only got 3 on my walk 
Started off with a little drizzle and 15 deg c which was fine. However around 11am the clouds cleared and the temp rocketed up till around 27 deg By the end of 4hr 20mins walking my feet felt like they were on fire 
Ive been off on hols for 3 weeks and my legs are suffering this week but getting better dispite the heat

Biblical storms here from 10.30am till about 12.20pm. Roads looked like rivers, drains were trumpeting up in pretty fountains. All the poor, bedraggled souls who were out in it could be seen huddled underneath bus shelters, begging for respite from the incessant drenching. Of course, yours truly was sat at home watching telly, broad smile on his face, reflecting that it was a very good day to be on annual leave. One might have spared a thought for those poor, put upon postmen ...

Day started off hot humid and overcast. Showers late morning, followed by the sun appearing around mid day. Still hot and humid, now with added heat as the temperature sored. 
Long day and very tiring. Returned to the office with 7 items, 6 of which were from the 13 assorted recorded items i'd taken out earlier. One of which i'd knocked for and almost filled out the card when the lady appeared, giggling like a school girl. 
Must have lost nearly half an hour carding that lot. It is probably the most frustrating thing about the job now, apart from the ridiculously long Saturdays.
