Applied for a full time position for a Postman back in July 2007 and got the job straight away. The position (full-time) was for a temporary for 2 months and suited me fine as after 2 months I was meant to be returning back to my University to finish my degree (Architecture). Luckily for me after 2 months they decided to keep me just for Saturdays as Harrow always needed extra staff on that day. So I've been working Saturday till now (almost 5 years)
Degree is finished now but still haven't found a proper job
so always get called to do some overtimes on weekdays, which suits me fine as working somewhere is always better then staying home and doing nothing. 
Due for a change over soon so I can start driving a van soon. Should be interesting..
