these sort of tactics by pea sized brain managers ( who couldnt manage any other job outside royal mail or even do a delivery) are briiliant all it does is make more and more people detest them for what they really stand for, love it love it love it :nana

TO THINK I USED TO BE PROUD BEING A ROYAL MAIL EMPLOYEE![/uQUOTE ] As usual very arrogant !, I agree with Bob Gibson about vague assertions and the CWU 's legal people pulling what RM say to bits . Begs more questions than it answers -typicial RM ,Would RM be able to "justify" illegal deductions of wages under the Wages Act 1992 in Court ? .Just pure desperation & small mindedness . The laughable irony is when AL wanted 3000 mgt redundancies , some though it may be hard to believe, were actually better managers and jumped ship , took the money and joined the competition . The one's left over, either had to suffer Allan's axe , or stayed as 1 They wouldn't get the same money elsewhere 2 Nobody outside would want them anyway ! 3 Look at non -ops and no new products for two years ,constructive criticisim from Business about RM's products hence the no vision , no imagination tags . 4 That macho style stifles any ideas ,creativity , is counter productive , produces a blame & fear culture . Bit much when Tory on-line sites agree with the CWU about RM being out of control , the problem with Maverick leaders is they like a bit of anarchy as they hark back to John Major's era; but they don't think things through properly ,and it backfires .

I often thought, why's he just quoting.............
A few other peeps do it actually, what people need to rem is to make sure the cursor is AFTER the "]" after you've quoted.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Sorry, I had to laugh at this pathetic letter. But seriously, I would have thought they would try the old conduct code routine if they thought you were working slowly. I`m amazed these pr**s can get away with stopping your pay when you are actually attending work and working

Not using your Cars, you get droped out by a RM van.
Or depending you get a bus ect.
Basically, you're doing the job properly, take your breaks, don't come in early if you've still got nights, and weigh your bags.
