Royal Mails new system

i guess like many offices world class mail is everything we have the worst bullying managment in all my years there is no such thing as cut off no matter what time you get out on delivery area union reps dont help us and they increase collapsed walks every day and cherry on the cake they closed our car park because of world class mail we finish after 4in the afternoon as the norm our only hope is someone from headquarters can sort our office out as of today 6 poeple sacked for not completeing there walk first 2 at tribunal this week how did we let it get so bad for postman/ women

We agreed to BT 2010 soon to be reveiving an adjuct with WCM - something that has still to be explained in any detail despite the fact that the PEC are agreeing to it. I think we ought to step back from WCM until all the revisions are complete and sucessfully deployed and then WCM to be brought in stage by stage by agreement - one of which must have been the backless frames, by any other name surely a WCM initiative.

It is quite often the case that some do not complete ...some 3 days a week at our depot.

Uping the delivery length and using vans and having to deliver parcels as well..... makes it often unachievable to complete in the delivery time...so back it comes.

Its a sad reflection that somedays at the end of our round we have to decide what streets to bring back as time has expired...... constantly getting the golf trollies in and out of the van and moving the van up and down the roads... is so much aggro and time wasting, than cycling round in one direction without parcels and then actually acheiving a finished delivery.

Those days have gone..... we just bring it back and go home....... management do not listen to logic from people that actually do the job...its been 5 years or more since we had a 318 in the office.... what a way to run down a business into the ground... Xmas is going to be the biggest nightmare ever in our depot... and last year was a monster...

As often said...how come so few in the RM can have the power,.... to nacker it all up for so many......meaning posties and public and businesses included.....

Posties are begining to realise that we have a union not fit for purpose ..... not always the low RM salaries but the major point is increased workload imposed on its workers........

Profits are one thing...respect for your workforce is paramount...... The union seems misguided in their attitued to basic fundamentales of workloads and bad working practices imposed by management to suit everyday situations......

Royal Mail going to pot and nationwide the message from posties i have spoken to on my travel is basicially the same..... Not a good word to say about RM the company they work for and the public know it as well.......

Sad reflection of a company gone bad..... and little respect for their staff......

And the worst is probably to come for most of you.....in the coming years on many different fronts... you have been warned, it aint gonna get any easier.

The union top brass should hold their head in shame......highly paid and non effective and achieving so little.... that even the public know is bad with RM

I WONDER WHAT THE RM WILL BE LIKE IN 2025...OR WILL IT STILL BE RUNNING...?

Job security must be a major worry to most of you in the next 10 years.....

In 513 years :) royalmail will be dead in 20 years, basically privatised maybe franchised courier network.
