HOUSEHOLD DELIVERIES

Post by swintontillidie »

At the office that I work at it has become common practice for household deliveries to arrive mid week sometimes as late as Thursday and they are according to the record sheets to be completed by Saturday. What is the ruling on this? is it acceptable to do a percentage and leave the rest or are they supposedly to be worked in with the following weeks batch of door to doors?

I thought the agreement was if they arrived later than Monday then an extra 20% was paid and 40% in later than Tuesday. Beyond that they could be returned. If someone has a copy of the agreement perhaps they could post it.

Yeah, that crap's usually put under our bays on Saturdays. I'd get your rep to look into this, no way should you be expected to do door2dustbins
when they've arrived at the business end of the week. :no no

I've never heard that before, TBT.

Don't think I'd still want to do 'em though, if they arrived that late in the week.

For every day they are late we add 20% on to the label, and of course make sure they pay us, as well.

I think that the old contract was cancelled while they agreed a new one.
